Pros

All the pros can be found in Con's section.

Cons

1.) No official company's laptop was given to perform work-based functions - You can only use your personal laptops for official work stuff. This is a backup organization that also provides security for their customers. How is it secure to use personal laptops to access customer's backups and sensitive data? What an absolute breach of Customer confidentiality and security and I feel so sorry for all their respective customers! 2.) Yelling and swearing at colleagues are totally acceptable. - It's ironically ridiculous where I've seen a company where up to the Senior Leadership level, they would swear in official meetings and throw huge tantrums and openly embarrass their colleagues at Townhall meetings. Even, most of the Senior management thinks they are not dispensable and directly shoots ill-tempered remarks at their fellow workers. CV is not a family entitlement, it’s a workplace and could have been treated like one. 3.) Management has an extremely political "Big Boys Club" - If you don't belong to this club, please never speak up, or because if you do, then you will be put on a performance review regardless of how super-technical and hardworking you are. 4.) No appraisals for excellent engineers - The workplace politics is super-strong to the point that the best engineers are often neglected of credibility simply because they are not part of the BIG BOYS CLUB. Regular engineers are regarded as the best for doing nothing extra-ordinary but simply because they are active members of the Big Boys Club! 5.) Very bad workplace culture - You work like a DONKEY and yet Senior Management team makes you feel you are totally replaceable by threatening you could lose your job. So many engineers have literally had to cry bitterly based on this fact or just resign. Absolutely ridiculous! 6.) Non-attractive compensation package - Not even the minimum 2% salary increment was received in the Year 2019, but apparently, some other members of the Big Boys Club received Salary increments plus bonuses, while management blatantly lied no one received salary increments and bonuses! 7.) Non-flexible working environment - No one is allowed to work from home only if you are a member of the Big Boys Club. However, when Covid hit, Management's hands got twisted and everyone had to work from home on their personal laptop and there was no provision of laptops from the company. The company lacks the benefits of a Fortune 500 company. 8.) Highly unhealthy work environment as you "Work like a donkey" - Senior Management wants the region team to be the best out of all the regions at the detrimental cost of their engineer's health which means the bar is set unrealistic super-high and there has been beast performance from the engineers which includes spending a ridiculous amount of extra-hours (unpaid) working each day. Obviously, the only way to beat other regions and make Management look good. However, with zero acknowledgment and compensation to the engineers from the same Management team. Sounds more like modern-day slavery! 9.) Lack of Transparency - Offshoring engineer's jobs to India and Management is not open to workers about this. This absolutely killed the workplace ambiance. Zero trusts in management. 10.) Zero growth opportunities - The only way to get more opportunities is to resign and get better opportunities elsewhere. 11.) Micro-management at its best- this organization is where you get penalized to take a few minutes to break in order to go buy a cup of coffee to increase your work concentration and productivity. Zero Australian workplace culture. 12.) Diversity ratio is nothing to write home about.

Pros

Pay was good. That's about it

Cons

My comments are limited to what I experienced in 2016: Making wrong hires in the sales, BD functions; continuously. I know some are hired more for looks than anything else. The indecision of senior management sitting in APAC Lots of backstabbing by colleagues In my 20 years of corporate life, probably the worse firm at least for what I experienced in the Singapore office. For a small firm with about 35 people, its shocking.

Pros

Good Pay. Good tool. lots to learn. Free food and good office setup.

Cons

1. The support team is new and the team management has no idea of creating a good atmosphere for ppl coming in. 2. They panic and put pressure on the team. 3. Just 15 days and you are expected to know in and out of the commvault tool. 4. Team management should understand what is load balance and look into how many hours people are spending on work and breaks. 5. Some people enjoy 3 tea breaks and 2 food breaks that add up the pressure on other engineers. But management never bats an eye on this. 6. Expecting the quantity is fine, but look into the quality as well. Some people create multiple duplicate cases for an existing case and showcase the count for every week. 7. Please review at least 3 cases of every engineer for every week to see what kind of work is being done by your team. Just don't go by count.
