Pros

Huge Slide... Coffee Machine. Birthday Celebration Monthly( Cookies only) Free Ice-cream once a month due to budget cut( What a joke!!!!)

Cons

Too many to list. Have you seen a company having 35 Managers for approx 80 people ??? The product has too many bugs. No training. Most of the features are not working. Frustrated US Customers. Clueless Management and CEO. Very Stressful environment. Backstabbing culture. Unlimited PTO is a joke. It's only for Management. HR is useless and never found. Salary is very low. Claims to be Silicon Valley. What a joke. Very cheap Company. Even with Snack and Foodwise. They hire people from Bestbuy, McDonald's ( with all due respect)paying low salary as Front Liner. After 1 year they move them to different groups without any training. Same goes with Development team. They get cheap labour from India. Classic Disaster for Customer. What do you expect ????

It is interesting, the way you view our culture. Commvault is a fast paced highly technical environment and it’s not always a fit for everyone, we understand that. We are however proud of our 23-year history as an east coast tech company. We do as an organization has perks for Vaulters to enjoy at work like the sports fields, the walking track, onsite gym, onsite café and Starbucks, company events, breakout rooms etc but while these things certainly contribute to a happy work environment and our culture they are not simply our culture. When we talk about culture as a company we like to point to our People Promise, where the “Freedom to make an Impact, together” is front and center we believe that is core to our culture. We believe our Vaulters have the freedom to make smart decisions and focus on what matters, it helps foster team environments where accomplishments are made and celebrated together. We believe in perpetually moving forward, that’s why people who are passionate about our product and services thrive here because they are constantly trying new things and breaking what isn’t broken. Customer Support is unlike any other part of the business it comes with its unique set of challenges and rewards, but for those people who are energized by one another who listen and learn and support each other the sky is the limit. I understand that support is not all roses it’s hard work and we have over 175 engineers, however, at the end of the day when you solve the unsolvable problem, it’s a very satisfying feeling. As always, my door is open, and I encourage if you have any concerns to feel free to drop in and see me or head down to HR on the first floor to your HRBP. – Craig Tullo – VP America’s support

Pros

All the negative reviews are from those who were laid off. The company is finally trimming the fat and they are coming here to complain. Many people have been here a long time, for a reason. They have built a company and community. Results Driven - too much process crept in, but its still very lean compared to larger companies Compensation - In line with industry

Cons

Engineering has been allowed to run wild. They build and build, but nothing we can sell. I'm not sure how the CTO and Eng VP can talk about innovation when they have not built an actual new product, ever. Most employees really want to do the right thing for the company, unfortunately some of the newer hires from Oracle etc don't share that mindset. Sales not a happy as it once was.
