Pros

Pay and benefits are good. Company means well and does try to push good values. Pleasant environment and overall the company has a good reputation. There are opportunities to move up within the company with a couple caveats. Overall the Commvault software is very good, although can be challenging to support.

Cons

- Nepotism is in full bloom. If you know the right people within the company you will move up faster. - Colleagues can be very political. Plenty of backstabbing to go around to get ahead - Have recently had a round of layoffs because the primary owner Elliott Management was not happy with margins, this resulted in Bob Hammer being forced to step down. - Support has too many managers and supervisors for a small number of people. A group of 25-30 people can have 2 Supervisors and a Manager. - Head of Global Support is located in Australia, which results in micromanagement of support from afar. - Although they have an anonymous employee feedback called Vaulters Voice, many still fear reprisal if negative comments are made. Managers often can figure out in some cases who the person was by comments.

Pros

- Strong product line with great new features and release. - Technology company with a rapid change and business transformation. - Great culture "Company knows how to treat and value good employees" - Great work life balance.

Cons

In a Technology Company there has always been a rapid change and one need to adapt to those changes to help company grow and transform, however most of the individuals here are adamant to these changes which give an overall negative impact.

Great place to work for bachelors

Pros

Motivates to work for more hours and encourages to live in office. It best suits for bachelors. Employees given a chance to work with US counter parts on a rotational basis.

Cons

A large pay gap compared to Dev for Test. Makes testers helpless as they are driven by Dev mostly. And when blame game starts, it applies to QA only. From gathering inputs and implementation everything is driven by test but any failures in the release only attributed to QA.
