Pros

Commvault is truly a great place to work, and having worked across multiple business units, I’ve seen firsthand the positive transformation underway - especially in Customer Success. With strong leadership and a clear vision from the new CS head, the team is more focused, aligned, and already delivering impactful results. It’s an exciting time to be part of Commvault, particularly if you're passionate about customer value and growth.

Cons

Like any growing org, some internal processes still need alignment, especially across global teams. We are already working on it

Pros

Great organization to work for overall but few conditions.

Cons

After the new India Director took charge of the Customer Success Management (CSM) team at Commvault, the work environment has seen a significant decline. What was once a collaborative and relatively transparent culture has shifted into a toxic, micromanaged atmosphere that prioritizes control over trust. Team morale has plummeted due to the Director’s leadership style, which many employees perceive as authoritarian and unsupportive. Constructive feedback is often dismissed, and dissenting voices are silenced rather than acknowledged. This has created a culture of fear, where employees are more focused on avoiding conflict than doing their best work. Talented team members are actively looking for opportunities elsewhere. The lack of psychological safety, unclear strategic direction, and favoritism have become major concerns. There is also a noticeable disconnect between upper management and the ground realities faced by the team.
