Pros

Truly amazing culture. They give unlimited vaca and actually require you to use it. They talk a big game about caring for your mental health, and they back it up with support when things get real in life. There is a really young, hip, and positive vibe going on (YOU don’t have to be young or hip, but it’s good if you enjoy that vibe). People are talented and chill, and have very balanced egos. Super friendly and collaborative environment.

Cons

There are cons as with any place, but none that I feel are worth mentioning… they all balance out or make sense given the current state of the business (like growing pains).

This company is actually going somewhere

Pros

If you've ever wondered if the company (especially a startup) you're applying for is not just stable, but going somewhere, you can only hope that their growth charts look like CompanyCam's. In the ~3 years I've worked here, I've seen the number of employees, our yearly revenue, and the overall number of customers double several times in each category. Management knows how to find good people who are talented, (as opposed to good people who underperform or talented people who are a** holes) which contributes to a people- and growth-focused work environment, sans egos. The culture of CompanyCam is unmatched, even without the facade of ping pong tables, company-wide trips, or catered lunches at the expense of a lower salary or meaningless stock options. The people here want to see each other and the company grow; they're compensated well for it, enjoy it, and are challenged by doing it alongside each other.

Cons

CompanyCam is still a "young" company, so a lot of the processes are still being established. This could be a "con" for someone who wants to come into an enterprise-like environment but is extremely freeing and challenging for people who want to make those processes their own.

- Tons of flexibility to maintain work-life balance - 401k with Roth option - Company pays 100% of employee health insurance - Confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Paid employee parking - Quarterly company outings (lake day, bowling, axe throwing, etc) - Collaborative environment - Company equity - Competitive compensation plan - Free lunch Fridays (when in office) - Awesome downtown workspace, near restaurants, coffee shops and bars - We're growing responsibly in both revenue and headcount!

Cons

- Sometimes we have grown faster than the process or plan we've had in place to manage it effectively. - No company 401k match. - No Disability Insurance offered.
