Pros

I have to be fair, I did get paid on a regular basis and did get to take off 1/2 day on Christmas.

Cons

Long hours, you work 7 days a week to stay somewhat caught up. You will miss most of your kids activities. If you are awake you need to be working. Countless hours collecting data for reports that no one looks at (seriously, I had one weekly report that took 20 hours per week to complete). High stress, you will be told to take over someone's department without them knowing it. The new upper management is literally chasing off the old management team. I wouldn't be surprised if someone was physically attacked one day. The current management has no regard for the hardware business, surprised it's still around. No new customers, no new business being won. The Tech Zone concept is a failure up to now.

Pros

CompuCom provides education reimbursements and a substantial amount of online courses for certifications and talent development.

Cons

Management is like a revolving door, with every new decision-maker claiming they have the answer to fix everything! All the changes management has made in the past few years have been to the detriment of the employee. Associates are no longer allowed to carry over any PTO. CompuCom publicly cites studies that conclude employees do not take time off from work due to fear of the increased workload upon returning. Instead of offering assistance so that work doesn't accrue to levels that are unmanageable, CompuCom is punishing its associates by modifying its PTO policy to "use it or lose it," and offering no additional support to address the reasons we're afraid to take time off. Additionally, new Associates joining the company accrue a fraction of the PTO that were afforded to newcomers in years past. Talent will not stick around waiting for positive changes. I'm afraid this company will be losing many of its contracts due to poor performance.
