Pros

none that I can think of

Cons

This company has no principles, values, morals and constantly lies to employees. Management is always asking employees to do things that are against corporate CompuCom policy and also the RR account IT security policies. Reporting them to upper management results in nothing being done, my guess is someone is being paid under the table to keep them on the RR account.

Complexity and New Leadership

Pros

Skills such as 'Problem Solving' and 'Effective Communication' are perhaps more effectively honed when faced with challenges. The multi-line of business complexity, limited job-specific training, and a 'do-it-yourself' approach to IT needs presents managers and their employees with opportunities for being resourceful. The culture benefits the self-led.

Cons

- Not a routine precedence to promote from within. - Owned by a Private Equity firm that has addressed business capital needs at a measured pace. - Unstable leadership; recurring turn over at the top (Executive and Senior Leadership). 'Trickle Down Effect' of 'Tone at the Top' has impact across the organization. Changing the tone, while sometimes a vital necessity, can deflate morale, foster job uncertainty, and result in re-work (to suit new mgmt's needs/preferences).

Pros

If you have a heartbeat you can get a job at CompuCom. Good place to start a career and learn skills

Cons

If you have a heartbeat you can get a job at CompuCom. No company culture for retaining top talent. Pay raises pretty much non-existent since 2007. Most managers are hired from outside of the company which leaves very little room for upward mobility. If you are fortunate enough to be promoted to management, you are stuck dealing with underpaid and under-motivated people. Get in, get experience, get out.
