Pros

Compucom is mostly a contracting Company, so I worked within a large company, and my direct manager lived in a different state so that was nicer to not have someone completely micro-managing, and just meant that I would stay on top of email and phone more

Cons

You can forget about a pay increase, ever. No formal reviews, and even if there are reviews as required, it's not an outcome you desire, as you get all the praise for going above and beyond, yet they say they can't "do anything about a raise". Another example is, I left my position, and my team has been force to absorb all of my duties without a single pay increase for that. So that money from my salary has gone entirely into management's pockets. It's insane how they treat their employees like that.

Pros

Great experience, fun work environment

Cons

Compucom tanked their walmart POS contract by not sending technicians parts on time or sending incorrect parts due to poor labeling. This resulted in the loss of hundreds of jobs that had existed for less than a year.

Pros

If you have a heartbeat you can get a job at CompuCom. Good place to start a career and learn skills

Cons

If you have a heartbeat you can get a job at CompuCom. No company culture for retaining top talent. Pay raises pretty much non-existent since 2007. Most managers are hired from outside of the company which leaves very little room for upward mobility. If you are fortunate enough to be promoted to management, you are stuck dealing with underpaid and under-motivated people. Get in, get experience, get out.
