Okay place to get experience if you are starting with little to none in the IT field.

Cons

There is no sense of job stability and pay is not the best. After losing a large part of one of our contracts nearly half of my team was laid off.

Pros

Coworkers are generally laid back and friendly and management is flexible about letting you work from home or leaving early if your duties permit. It's a fairly low pressure environment with little micromanagement.

Cons

There have been no pay increases in years and I have almost never seen a coworker get promoted. Benefits packages and pay are lower than they are at other companies this size.

Pros

I've worked for CompuCom for almost 5 years now. I get to travel all over and meet people. Job is very "Self Paced" with little supervision and is perfect for people that are "Self Motivated". A very good start for your IT career. Lots of opportunity for training and certifications. Good benefits once you become a permanent employee.

Cons

Lots of work for low pay. Management team is not local. No pay raises for almost 5 years. Managers are slow to offer praise by quick to place blame when things go wrong. No support from help desk for serious problems. Help desk is out sourced to Mexico and India.
