Pros

Work from home. see cons.decent pay it took drastic action to get it.

Cons

I work for the company in one of the many support environments. We have over 300 clients to support in our group and Communication from management is poor and sales is allowed to promise the world and throw us under the bus. To get good pay i had to quit. To be hired full time and not as a contractor i had to quit. Work from home for a while now. not that great at all anymore.

Pros

it is a job. You can do a lot of training on your own time if you wish.

Cons

25+ years and they wanted me to take a pay cut after 3 years of no raises, then a 20 cent one. I opted to take a severence package and move on. My manager never cared about my career, only his numbers.

Pros

If you have no skills, and want to get some help desk experience for a very short amount of time - it’s ok. I wasn’t on the help desk teams, but was exposed to how they operate. The pay is NOT good, the morale is TERRIBLE, and other than they will take anyone - no good reason at all to work there.

Cons

The management is ridiculous. I have never seen more incompetent people in my life running the key pieces of the organization. Full of cliques, full of incompetence. Forget respect, the management teams consist of people who obviously could not get a job anywhere else and it shows. You have to be "in" to get any sort of promotion, and if you think you will be rewarded for working hard - forget it. More than likely you will be penalized for doing a good job. Worst management I have EVER seen in my decades long career.
