Pros

I had 5 weeks vacation. Somewhat flexible time for field technicians.

Cons

Constantly asking for more certs. Learn more customers standards. Went from simple hardware replacements to traveling desktop support. Started off as anyone out of high school could do. Now it's a high end job as if you need to be a system administrator. But at a grunts pay. Things were great until I received a 4.25/hr paycut in Oct 2012. Back then we did the same 10 calls. Replace a printer, keyboard or monitor, hdd system b oard and reimage pcs. Then after the paycut the demands went thru the roof. My head was ready to explode. Way to many customers and processes that you see to little of to get good at. No raises, not even cost of living.I did not even get all my back pay after leaving. I'll say this. If you are desperate take the job. Don't expect anything. Don't suck up or go out of your way. It's a sinking ship

Great manager. Terrible C suite management.

Pros

My direct boss and nice co-workers. That's why I stayed. The cons outweigh anything positive. No raises. Tyranical management. Quit modeling your management style to a 1950s business model.

Cons

Because of the egos and selfishness of Dan Stone and Carlos Sagasta, the company is moving out of Plano headquarters which is a hub city for technology to a location they want - not what is in the best interests of the company. These 2 tyrants are only interested in lining their pockets, not the company's best interests. They manage the company like a chess game. No raises, poor benefits, no direction. They've run it into the ground.

Pros

You have a job. And that sums it up in most cases. If your lucky you will work with great people. Management excluded.

Cons

Company most concerned with kissing clients bum over valuing employees. This is where a lot companies drop the ball. Rather than conform Compucom should adapt a more google approach as far as an environment is concerned. It feels like sharecropping to work here at times.
