No Loyalty. No Respect. No Ethics. Run away from this company

Pros

It is a job. OK for free training, then move one to where they actually pay you, and appreciate the work you do for them.

Cons

No loyalty. Every November there are numerous layoffs "to re-org" and keep the owners (T.H. Lee) into believing they "have a plan to improve the upcoming year". No raises in 9+ years for Field Technicians, always a different excuse or reason for delay, but they don't come through. Everyone must move to corporate office location unless you are friends with the right people. Company will not pay for relocation when your job moves, yet will not hesitate to eliminate you after you go to all the expense of moving you and your family, spouting "re-org". Corporate positions are being eliminated and replaced with outsourced India offices. The largest client demands that the company move out of North Carolina and Texas due to "bathroom law" bills, and Compucom does what they demand. They are losing money and can't do any better than cheap rates and poor quality service contracts.

Re - Structuring

Pros

Fast paced environment with opportunities in select areas of the structure.

Cons

Recent management change has led to moving large numbers of jobs to Mexico and India. Their main focus recently has been to cut costs as deeply and quickly as possible even if it means laying off or driving out workers with years of inside knowledge. They keep as many temporary workers as possible and avoid converting them to direct employment if possible.

Pros

They pay for certifications. You *might* be able to "get your foot in the door" through management if you're a man.

Cons

Sexist Don't pay well Treats employees like they are useless Hardly any advancement opportunities Happy to fire anyone when they realize they can hire someone else for less money
