Pros

The people there are great and try to have a positive work environment. Everyone there wants to do a good job for customers.

Cons

Inside sales is a dead end position. Pay increases are very rare and no chance for commission or spiffs. Management does not give alot of feedback for sales goals or performance. Since we were not on commission, I guess they did't think it was important.

Pros

Colleagues- some of the best I've worked with. Intelligent, professional, and dedicated. Information sharing and teamwork is a great plus.

Cons

Information sharing and teamwork is essential because of the utter lack of direction and understanding by senior management of what is actually being delivered to the customer base. Their ridiculous "win-win-win" mantra is hollow, and is forgotten within 5 minutes of uttering it. The incompetence is only overshadowed by the immature and irresponsible decision making. Rather than attempting to understand concerns and listen to suggestions, experienced and valuable managers, engineers, and analysts are pushed aside (out) to make room for those that will submit and comply to their misguided management.

Pros

Easy to get in the door, sometimes its nice to work at a large facility (Intel), some cool projects, you will rub shoulders with some of the best and brightest Blue badge enmployees and research people in the world depending on which contract or location you work at (Intel), the training allowance of $500 anually is generous.

Cons

Poor health Benefits for a famility person, little room for advancement, you will reach a glass ceiling as a contractor, you will not be treated the same as other Intel Blue badge employees. You will not be allowed to participate in Intel events, Compucom will not do much in the way of events for you. But they will on rare occaision. You will not be hired as a Blue Badge 99.99% so don't even follow the carot.
