Pros

- Paycheck - Relative Autonomy to Manage Resources that delivers the most value to the Customer - Great People! Dedicated Employees Great for entry level aspiring IT Professionals

Cons

- High Level of Attrition for Field Techs and Service Desk Techs. Impossible to predict the customer experience. - Antiquated Technical Solutions. Far far behind with digital transformation. Pretty much every other managed service provider is ahead of them as far as maturity. - Compucom Leadership(Dir level and Up) does not listen to the Managers on the ground or their customers. Leads to high level of short term contract engagements. They can sell and get contracts signed but cant hold onto those contracts past the initial 1 year. - Leadership Decisions over the last 5 years have had consequences. Leading Compucom to be more of a "Niche" provider and way behind competitors that they used to be ahead of. - Salary offerings are way below market value

Pros

The training opportunities that are available through the HUB.

Cons

Compensation is poor for all but upper management. I had not seen an increase in over 4 years but the responsibilities and expectations got out of control. I was with Compucom for 14 years and when I gave my notice in early December I was told " Hate to see you go but wish you the best". The company wants to reduce costs and overhead, it is no longer about customer service. Upon my departure I did not hear from HR or management for an exit interview. Makes me not regret my departure.

Pros

Great people, good place to gain experience.

Cons

CEO/Senior mgmt team is a joke. They do not value employees or lead their organizations with class and integrity. They overstate and misrepresent CompuCom’s abilities to clients. The pay inequity between men and women in similar job positions with similar experience is appalling. Perhaps one of the most demoralizing experiences over the last several years were the almost monthly “new VP” announcements..... we didn’t need more VPs, we just needed leaders with integrity and real experience.
