a lot poor salary salary and carreer are not increase due to your competences but more by Cronyism. the management is really not competent (it's not managers but technicians that wasn't enought good technically) there is no reward for your implication or professionalism.

Management - There is no competent person in management at local sites. Don't try to contact Payroll there isn't a way to do so. There appear to be skilled managers at the headquarters in Buffalo, but they employ poorly trained and impersonal people to herd the employees and crack the whip. The company is inflexible and "charges" employees for "training costs" upon separation by reducing their pay for their last paycheck to minimum wage or otherwise charge the employee for earned vacation time. People were laid off out of the blue a few times a year, so it had you always waiting for the axe to drop on you, so to speak. At that, if you were laid off, you were lucky to receive a severance of more than a few weeks, max. I was there 6 years, was laid off, with 2 weeks notice and received 2 weeks of severance pay, which is one paycheck. After 6 years, I would have expected at least the graciousness of a month's pay. Also, in the 6 years I was there, I never received a performance review.

No mechanism in place to receive reviews and merit increases. No longer matching 401k.

Somewhat inflexible, didn’t really know how to treat higher level employees
