Pros

Great work environment Flexible hours Overtime Friendly management Decent benefits

Cons

Level 1 help desk team consists of employees originally hired as data entry clerks or as400 operators. A huge amount of level one work ends up at level two due to the lack of experience and basic troubleshooting. Troubleshooting more advanced issues is very difficult when most of my team's time is spent on petty tickets that should have been resolved at level 1.

While we are troubled by your comments on the Level I Help Desk support and will certainly make our IT management organization aware of your concerns, we would like to take this opportunity to mention that we have recently hired a new leader to our Help Desk and are implementing new processes to better serve our callers.

Pros

The people are great.

Cons

Depending on your group there is not always much room for advancement. The pay is relatively low and if you work any time outside of "normal hours" and have a holiday or vacation time you are working for free or expected to make up the time even if you are salaried.

Thank you for your feedback on Glassdoor. We appreciate your comment on the great people we have working here. Relative to your comment on advancement, half of all jobs are filled inside the Company and many managers and professional staff have been the beneficiary of promotions and employees have the ability to bid on any job in any department. We do benchmark our compensation and feel that we are competitive in the areas we compete in for talent.

Pros

As an account manager we are very well taken care of and appreciated. 3 weeks of vacation starting out! Flexible.

Cons

Very little to no margin to uplift for commission. Our prices can be beat by anyone. The constant call monitoring feels very invasive. Especially to hard working deticated employees. I could understand if there was an issue or for perioic review. Internal technology is lacking.

Thank for your feedback. We are glad to hear you feel positive about our work culture and vacation benefits. We recognize for newer Account Managers it takes time to build your book of business. We offer training and support, including call monitoring to help coach and develop our Account Managers to succeed. We don’t compete on just price as an IT Solutions company we can offer value that many companies are unable to offer. We recognize our internal systems are in need of an upgrade and there have been several enhancements that have been made in the last several years to enable sales to work more efficiently but there is much more to do on that front.
