Pros

Great people, fun environment, good entry level sales job

Cons

Very low pay compared to market. Rather than hire qualified folks, this company will hire anyone for sales who will work for 25k a year base knowing 90% will be gone before their first year. No career path, and if you’re female, good luck being promoted… even if you’ve already doing the job you applied for - sales is a boys’ club. Sales enablement is terrible - antiquated “hard close” techniques are all that is taught, and no prospecting techniques except cold calling will count toward your metrics. No established value selling sales process (MEDDIC, etc) to speak of. This job was most valuable as a primer in what *doesn’t* work in solution selling.

Pros

Learned a lot about the tech solutions industry that was helpful when applying elsewhere. 3 weeks vacation time to start. Good people. Steady work. Pretty easy to get promoted if you put your head down and prove you’ll do the work

Cons

Extremely outdated thinking by management. Very conservative company and failing to stay competitive due to their resistance to change. Extremely low pay compared to other similar positions - most people leave and make a lot more $ elsewhere. Employees are quitting left and right. Onboarding training is almost non-existent and not much growth training.
