Pros

Not one single pro. At all. Absolutely none.

Cons

Very poor management. Training to be a store manager was only five days long. Commission structure sucks and hourly/salaried pay is well below the industry average.

That is so strange... normally monthly contests, performance pay increases, vacation time, employee perks, industry training, and ability to move up are considered pros... Ex.) in 2018 alone, we have given away cruises, trips to Las Vegas, a car, cash prizes, technology, TVs, preparing to take 70 people to Cabo. Our top producers are earning over $2,500 / month in commission payouts. As with all great things and most jobs (to my knowledge) that takes hard work to do win or earn more. Training for leadership is 10 days in person as orientation, 2 weeks with Sprint as a new hire, and then a leadership academy with Sprint. I hope this helps clear things up! If there is anything else we can do, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Pros

-Vendor relationships -Contests for free stuff -Constantly meeting new people

Cons

Upper Management plays favorites. They never acknowledge you when you do great. The pay is terrible. The commission structure is designed so the company makes money and not you as the employee. There are constant payroll issues (ex. not getting paid your hourly or salary at all because of an error on their part, which is constant, they give you a commission statement occasionally that you can't understand, not getting paid commission because of another error on their part, which is constant again). They demand and demand and don't help you reach your goals. Management constantly threatens your job. There is no support or coaching coming from upper management. Highly stressful. The only people that ever get promoted are friends of upper management. If you voice your concerns about anything you are immediately shunned for doing so, no matter what you are voicing concerns about.

Pros

Decent benefits, great co-workers, Good pay if in right store.

Cons

Management is horrible. They do not care about employees. Turn over rate is worse than a call center. When i worked in the store as a Sales Representative my Assistant store manager would leave for 3 or 4 hours a day without clocking out while i was only with the company for 2 weeks (And still in training). Brought this to my district managers attention so he fixes the problem by promoting the Assistant manager to Manager. Problem solved! So now the Manager can leave whenever they please without any repercussions. Leaving somebody who is two weeks in and not done with training ALONE in a store is a horrible way to treat employees, and customers at that. Pay was also horrible. They state $15 an hour on their ad's. This is NOT the case. Most of the stores they own are super slow and have absolutely no customers coming in. The store i worked at was in a busy shopping center but got about 10 customers a week. Even if you sold everything you could to a customer you are extremely lucky to hit the 60% sales required to make any commission. If you are in a store with no traffic you will NOT hit commission. The company requires all employees to post ads on Craigslist and offer up because business is so slow. That is just pathetic that a company has to sink to those levels to attempt to bring in customers.
