Good people, below average pay

Pros

Good people for the most part; for the most part not overwhelmed with work; casual-ish atmosphere;

Cons

Low salaries; periodically the work gets overwhelming and late hours end up inevitable; growing reliance on "hot desking" as the London office compresses from two floors into one; slow progression up the ladder that is based much more on years spent at a position than proficiency with existing responsibilities

Pros

colleagues are friendly, it's good as first job after college, good exposure to interesting topics.

Cons

the management is very old school British 'boys club' style, if you are not in that club, you bottleneck pretty quickly in the hierarchy.
