Benefits are great. Flexibility with when one take PTO.

Cons

Racism- HR Department in the Health Plan building once gave advice to a supervisor on how to treat ' Hispanics' stating that they are overly sensitive. Management- Lack of leadership to the point that it becomes very disorganized. Projects can never be completed on time since everyone feels like they are in charge and they fight amongst themselves to come out on top. The building is old and molding. Bathrooms sometimes have no water and smell disgusting.

A Place for the Incompetent to Flourish!

Pros

The activities provided to the children seeking care and their families. Child Life and the care they provide with their highly trained therapy dogs.

Cons

Top heavy with incompetent management. Toxic unsupportive abusive culture with no means to report. Management/HR violate their own Code of Conduct. No growth opportunities for the competent because you may question the incompetence of others and they need someone to do the work they cannot do. Analytical thinkers are seen as a threat.

They've lost sight of who they are and what they stand for

They have some wonderful doctors and do many incredible things on the clinical side. Miracles are performed on a daily basis there.

Cons

Over the years, I saw employee morale continue to diminish and leadership was absolutely clueless as to why that was. As the system continued to grow, their growth in the infrastructure was non existent. In many cases, key departments were shrinking instead of growing. On any given day, across any department, you could bond with other employees over the stress level, the low morale and even the other jobs you were looking for.

It is also disappointing to hear the information on diminishing morale, high stress levels and leaderships perception on the matter.
