Pros

Set hours , weekends off (on call maybe 1-2 weekends depending on staff availability), techs can take on other none tech roles in the company if they want to move up

Cons

At the time , unstable mgmt, lots of whiny coworkers got away murder. Each department has little room for advancement which means if you're not willing to switch "specialty" you may not get a chance to move into leadership roles

Miserable

Pros

Select few management, big building?, Nothing

Cons

This could go on and on. This company is miserable. And CVS is not the problem. Recently high management came in and have been nothing but a disaster. They want you to behave like robots. You are NOT allow to talk, get out of your cubicle, change the heat in the building, listen to music of any sort in any form. If you make a mistake, like most humans do, you are disciplined like dog and have it rubbed in your face to make you feel as insignificant, worthless, and replaceable as possible. They always say they will have training for new instructions and yet it takes four months to have it happen. The pay is insane to work your butt off and deal with crap all day, it is NOT equal to other similar companies. In multiple years, and GREAT reviews I went up a total of $1.50. I was one of the best at doing the job and I could do any job and that's the thanks that I get. If you are over ONE minute late from traffic, weather, car trouble you get disciplined. Welcome to Colorado weather! The employees are working the butts off for absolutely nothing. I would highly NOT recommend this company ever. Better to pick up dog poop for similar pay.

Fun but frustrating

Pros

The people were great Lots of fun activities: food days, jeans days, etc Great flexibility in schedule; easy to get time off

Cons

Ineffective leadership. Managers never addressed issues with employees so bad employees drove good employees away often. Salaries much lower than comparable positions elsewhere Raises weren't guaranteed and, if received, were usually 1.5% at most No accountability; if problems arose, those who were not involved had to fix the issues, so there was no incentive to improve. Unethical practices Poor communication, especially between departments General negativity Employees hired based on being friends or family members of management
