Easy apply and Easy Hiring process, Job is good if you are able to multitask effectively.

Cons

Severe low pay for work that is to be performed. CoreCivic is a local, state, or federal contractor so their first priority is to save money. I would not recommend to anyone with previous LE or Corrections experience unless you were a former Warden. The pay is to low to support a family and pay rent, especially in Austin Area. This job is more for a first job type of person barely venturing out into the workforce.

Pros

Good benefits, opportunity to grow into other areas, lots of overtime.

Cons

Long hours, too much mandatory overtime, even on your day off. No set time for lunch, you eat on your post in front of the inmates; and if they are out they will steal your lunch or any personal items they see.
