Pay is not great at all. Recruiter even apologized from the get go. Either the training of management on handling of employees needs improvement or the direct treatment of employees needs to improve--I was there 3.5 days and had 3 emails about nitpicking things that were either known issues that I had already proactively emailed the manager about, or that the manager had already sent a ticket into IT to fix...but the straw that broke the camel's back was the accusation of trying to get overtime, how I wasn't approved for it, then telling my trainer that I came in early that day.... for 2 minutes. Ultimately all things that could have been handled by the direct manager reading her emails, having a quick zoom meeting at the end of the week, and maybe not wording things in accusatory ways for a new employee just trying to be prompt. (Especially after the warning of docking points if clocking in more than 6 min late). Also the company has a secondary internal time clock to track projects being worked on--so they're tracking bathroom breaks, etc. I liked the actual work being done. The management of the people was absurd and harkening back to the early 90's in mentality.

No remote work available for the people at the bottom of the chain. The mortgage tax associates are treated unfairly and practically have a new manager every few months. This company only has hiring bonuses because they can’t keep employees because of how many people quit. They have many open roles because nobody wants to stay there especially with the low pay they offer (around $17 an hour). Even if you are a minute late from break you get called out on it. QA standards are around 93% and each QA associate grades differently and at times marks off for things they didn’t mark off previously. Associates speak up about trying to make changes or improvements to those standards and management does nothing to improve anything. Calls in queue can sometimes get pretty high and with short staff and small teams it can be exhausting going back to back to back on calls. This is a dead end job. Go work somewhere else and not waste your time. Many associates all agree it’s just toxic with management breathing down your necks.
