Pros

-Wonderful peers. There are truly some amazing people at Coveo -First line managers are good people who treat their teams well but have no power against senior leadership. -Founders are good people that created a wonderful company and culture. But that has slipped away over the past 18 or so months.

Cons

-Toxic work environment created by new senior leadership -All traces of past C Suite leadership seem’s to be gone. -Zero work life balance -Zero feedback is taken from employees or care about well being of employees. -If you want a company who cares about employees mental health, this is not the company for you. -No loyalty. New leadership just wants to bring their own hires in. -Client facing teams blamed for all customer issues. Product and engineering protected that no issues are the products fault. -Falling way behind in the Agentic AI space -Unless you can be a yes man and be willing to never open your mouth, look some where else.

Pros

Coveo has a great product and a good group of people with whom you interact on a daily basis. Good commission rates and quota seems to be achievable as a yearly quota, even though you are measured quarterly.

Cons

Less than a week and a half in, I was asked by management how my pipeline build was going. It went downhill from there. There are many unrealistic goals for pipeline building and expectations of the number of qualified deals you have to pipe each month. Quota starts on day one and is completely misaligned with the average sales cycle, putting you in a hole almost immediately from a quarterly quota attainment standpoint. You as the Account Executive are the only one responsible for pipeline build, no other teams are accountable, which was not communicated in the hiring process. Meetings are focused exclusively on what you're doing to drive business, with little to no interest in where you may be facing challenges or how the organization can help you in those deals. There’s no feedback loop or collaboration between Sales and Management, making it difficult to raise concerns, share ideas, or get the help needed to succeed. Additionally, there are no team meetings to collaborate on what’s working or not—leaving reps isolated and unsupported. In my experience to date, it can be a very demotivating place to work.

Pros

Do yourself, do not accept the position.

Cons

-This company is literally altering their Glassdoor rating by having their employees post generic good reviews after a bad review is written. -They also will report a review that is completely true and warranted. -The C-suite truly wants no one to know they are running this company to the ground. If you don’t agree with them, you are being forced out. -The product is stale and only focused on an over priced, underwhelming GenAI option that is sure to make their customers look elsewhere.
