Pros

Your colleagues will be great across most teams.

Cons

Poor leadership, no strategic value and frequent layoffs with zero communication when they happen. Zero room for growth, even when the layoffs were not as prominent. Members at the company are burnt out.

Pros

Decent comp package and flexible schedule

Cons

Forcing everyone back into office with an insanely large radius and no adjustment to overall comp. Complete disconnect between senior leadership and the folks actually doing the work.

A lot of Volatility in the Organization

Pros

There are wonderful people working within the organization who truly want to support their fellow colleagues. Additionally, benefits and flexible time off are a plus to ensure people are able to take time away from work.

Cons

It is a volatile organization. I have been with the organization for less than a year, and in that time there have been multiple layoffs and reorganizations. Morale internally is low, as people have been shocked to learn their colleagues--some with over 10 years of experience--are suddenly gone. Meanwhile, leadership will say that the organization is performing extremely well. As someone who has yet to be laid off, there's a sense of it being not a matter of "if" but "when." The organization also has real difficulties with communication. Things are not communicated on time or are rushed, so there's an unnecessary sense of urgency. Leadership tries to do quarterly town halls, but they do not provide adequate information to employees. They are not engaging, and important information that is shared, such as changes to bonus structure, reviews, etc., are missed because there's nothing shared out afterward to review.

We appreciate and value your input as an employee. It’s great to hear you’ve had a rewarding experience working here. When reductions in the workforce are necessary, it is never an action taken lightly. We understand the significant impact these decisions have on our employees. We are actively working with our leaders to improve the communication of important information to their teams in a timely and appropriate manner. Your initiative in bringing these matters to our attention is greatly appreciated. It's through open dialogue that we can continue to build a stronger, more transparent workplace. We encourage you to discuss your specific concerns in more detail with your HR representative.
