Pros

pay is about the only thing

Cons

they say one thing and do another thing, the management is out of tuck with the tech and don't listen to them, if you are not a good old boy then they don't care what you have to say. I know they put me in a spot not to succeed what a customer at the customer location by not given the right tooling I need to do anything other then oil changes. They don't match 401k the health insurance is ok unless you can pay for the high package like the management is able to do.

Former Technician, I am very sorry to hear your short term employment with us left you feeling dissatisfied with our organization. I wish you would have addressed your concerns with our HR department prior to leaving, we are an advocate for listening to our employees and value the feedback. In fact, we just completed a company wide employee engagement survey designed at providing our employees the platform to have a voice in helping make our company an even more valued place of employment. Our technicians are at the core of our success, and we are more progressive than ever with our training and support tools to support our technicians. We launched a great new company wide employee recognition program in 2017 that allows all managers and employees to be recognized for their efforts and achievements. We have hired and promoted many new leaders of management in various positions of our sales, field and corporate operations organization, we certainly do not have a good old boy business model and we pride ourselves on being a rapidly growing and developing company. We just introduced for 2018 a great new medical, dental and vision plan upgrade for our employees. We now offer employees a zero premium coverage plan paid 100% by DFS and we offer multiple family and individual benefit plan options. Our 401K program is also an area that ownership is evaluating as we strive to provide as much employee value proposition as we can. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, I wish we could have had the opportunity to discuss and take action together on the issues that you surfaced. I want to wish you the best of luck in with your career ahead. Mike Davis

Pros

Good place to work for a steady paycheck, while you're looking for a job.

Cons

Management over looks the racist jokes, sexism, and the ageism. No opportunity to grow. Although there is a 401K the company doesn't put any money into it. The medical benefits went, and I quote what the VP said, "bad to worst".

Former Sales Employee, I hate to hear that you were so unhappy during your time with Dickinson Fleet Services. While I know that we can't be everything to everyone, over our 21 year history we have always done our best to treat every single team member with respect, and to be the employer of choice in our industry. Your comments about harassment are cause for great concern. We have zero tolerance for any type of harassment, and have a stellar HR department that is available for all of our team to go to when they feel like they have been a victim. As I mentioned before, it is my expectation that everyone in our organization be treated with respect, and will make sure that all of our team members know that they have an outlet to go to if they ever feel like that are not. As for our benefits, I would have to disagree with your comments. Prior to 2018, our medical plan was a “one size fits all”. In 2018 Dickinson Fleet Services relinquished our grandfathered status and now complies 100% with the Affordable Care Act guidelines. For the first time ever, Preventive Care is covered at 100% and follows the expanded ACA list of covered preventive services. Dickinson Fleet Services now offers employees three medical coverage plans so that employees have options regarding how much they want to pay and when they will pay it. The Silver, Gold and Platinum plans offer the same robust coverage, which includes 70% In-Network Coinsurance and a three-tiered prescription plan. Employees who meet a certain criterion will have a zero-annual premium for the Silver Plan. The differences between the three plans pertain to premiums, deductibles, office co-pays and out of pocket max amounts. Employees who choose the Silver plan will pay lower annual premiums, however this plan does carry the highest office co-pay and out of pocket max. If employee chooses the Platinum plan they will pay our highest annual premium, however this plan has our lowest deductible, office co-pays and out of pocket max. The Gold plan premiums and out of pocket max fall between the Silver and Platinum plan, but the deductible is the same as the Silver Plan. Thank you for taking the time to write the comments you did. I wish we would have had the opportunity to help you navigate through some of these issues while you were still on board. All the best in your career. Mike Dickinson
