Pros

Enormous amount of freedom to do your job, no manager looking over your shoulder, pay was good, benefits were fair.

Cons

No vision, they have no idea where they want to go or how to get there. They want sales but can't handle them when you get new customers and it's you with egg on your face having to let the customer know why they can't receive what they are paying for. Also, as I said before they want the sales but also restrict travel to get the sales you need. Very unorganized they react to situations without thinking of the employee.

Senior Regional Sales Exec, thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are always open to suggestions on how we can better serve our employees and customers. For over 21 years we have tried to set all our employees up for success by giving them autonomy to do their job. We have always believed that if you hire the right person, train them to do their job, and hold them accountable for their results, the best will rise to the top. I am disappointed in myself and our Senior Leadership to hear that you didn't understand what our vision is. We have been clear in our message to all of our employees and customers on what we strive to deliver. Our Mission and Drive have been cornerstones values in our company for years, and are spelled out in slides our sales execs use in their sales presentations. Our Mission is to provide our customers Maintenance Excellence through Quality maintenance and repairs, Safety, and Communication of fleet information that is processed, organized and available. Our Drive to accomplish that is to provide our technicians leadership and support so they may attain Maintenance Excellence by performing Quality maintenance and repairs, Operating Safely, and complying with the Communication policies and processes of our Company. Unfortunately we don't bat 1,000, and at times we miss on our delivery to our employees and customers, but those are the exceptions, and we learn and get better from those exceptions. Fortunately, for every one employee that feels like their inability to be successful was not because of their performance, but because the company let them down, we have many more that take pride in being part of the largest independent truck maintenance company in the United States. Thank you again for taking the time to write your review. I am always open to suggestions, and would welcome a call from you to discuss how we could have served you better. All the best in your career... Mike Dickinson Executive Officer

Company in "Disarray"

Pros

Above avg pay. That is about it.

Cons

Absolutely unorganized. No support for management. No training for management. The bonus program is not clearly outlined. Most managers received less than half of what they were earning previously. The company has completely lost sight of what got them to where they are today.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We have always welcome comments from current and former employees, and over the years have been provided with some great feedback on how we can better serve our customers and employees. In 2018 we conducted our first ever employee engagement survey, and the response was fantastic. We had over 65% of our employees take the time to provide their input , and the number one request from our employees was they wanted more training. So your comments on our lack of training is heard loud and clear. To address this, we moved our training initiatives under the leadership of Mike Davis, our VP of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, and created the position of Director of Training, and promoted Christopher March into that role. We will be more focused on the training needs of all of our employees in 2018, and have the leadership in place to deliver on that promise. In regards to compensation opportunities above and beyond salaries, it is, and always has been based on the individual performance of the manager. I can assure you that our best performing managers max out their compensation every year; and our under-performing managers , in some cases, receive less than half of what they were earning previously. We continuously look for ways to challenge our management team, raise the bar on expectations every year, and recognize and reward our best performers. For 21 years we have been a technician focused company. We don't sell, rent, or lease trucks. We're not a trucking or delivery company. All we do is truck maintenance. Everything we do is focused around making our technicians more successful, which in turn provides our customers with Maintenance Excellence. I am always open to talk to current and former employees on how we can make them more successful. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you would like to discuss in more detail.
