Pros

Service truck and fuel card.

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. Loyalty means nothing to this company. Long hours, no shift differential pay. All northern employees have better advantages. Have to bill high labor and parts to company contracts to make your hours. Bonuses only benefit owners and higher-ups. High turnover rate and morale is very low. Managers are the only ones available whenever they answer. communication is always an issue. Gps and dash cams are part of your daily driving. Benefits are ridiculous, broken promises and no room for advancement. Look elsewhere, unless you like being micromanaged. Pay period begins on thursdays and ends on following Wednesday to keep overtime hours low.

Poor Communication within Corporate

Pros

Decent pay with flexibility. Managers within Corporate have good intentions, but very little time to act on the good intentions.

Cons

Very unorganized. Everyone in Corporate is too busy to truly work as a team. Not enough manpower to support the field. Turnaround time for returned emails and voicemails is unacceptable. The training for technicians is outstanding, however in corporate it severely lacks. No true direction of the company communicated to employees while the transition of upper executives took place. Benefits need severe improvement. No 401k match is offered. There is very little incentive (not just monetarily) and team building.

I appreciate it very much when someone takes their time to provide our company with their personal feedback and experiences, so thank you, we value this at Dickinson Fleet Services. We have in fact had a corporate transition in 2017 and one that we are very proud of for the future of all our employees and for the companies direction and growth as a whole. We are extremely transparent with our company direction and this is communicated with our leadership team and to all employees. We also have invested in 2 major company initiatives in 2017 with the primary focus being our valued employees. 1) New employee engagement program that is designed to reward and recognize our employees across the organization daily/weekly/monthly. 2) A completely new Talent Acquisition organization dedicated towards hiring more people to support our growth and to hire quality people who will be with our Dickinson Fleet family for years to come. We are certainly always looking to improve our employees work place environment and we feel extremely proud that we have taken great strides this year towards making our company an even a better place to enjoy a long and productive career.
