The Epitome of a Dead End

Pros? Zero. None. Look elsewhere.

Cons

A company full of zeroes. Zero culture. Zero innovation. Zero leadership. Coworkers are miserable and rarely acknowledge you in passing. I've never experienced a lack of culture like this. Those in upper management are unqualified for their roles. They shift upper managers across departments into new roles even though they have zero experience in that domain. Unless you consider coin dispensers and vending machines "innovative"...keep looking. This place is a dead end and is not a place to advance your career. I've never been more miserable at a company. I'm just biding my time during this economic downturn until I can find something that's a better fit. What a mess of a company! As other reviewers mentioned...the "Crane Resolution" and the cheesy hot air balloon that they drill into your head is a joke. Nobody cares - we just smile and nod like robots because "that's the Crane way."

The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Corporate double-think is rampant, technology is ancient and problem-ridden, no one here actually wants to hear about the problems and employee input despite soliciting it. Employees are blamed for management failures and disorganization. Constant shift in strategy and communications. Lots of talk about values and the Crane Resolution but no evidence of it in policy and how people are treated. Handling of the pandemic was inconsistent, callous, and didn't show regard for employee concerns. What else can you say?
