All of our supervisors and clinical team members at Creative Solutions for Hope (CSH) share a passion for the ABA field. We're delighted to know you've shared a positive experience working with our team! However, it is unfortunate you did not feel you were compensated enough for your role. Creative Solutions for Hope offers a competitive pay rate, which is analyzed on a yearly basis to ensure it stays competitive, along with several opportunities for growth throughout your employment, such as our Senior Therapist Level I - III opportunities that come along with pay increases, CSH also offers annual performance reviews with the opportunity for a merit-based pay increase, and an additional pay increase is offered within the first month of employment for obtaining your RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification. Lastly, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge your piece of advice. Upon interviewing, we make candidates aware that their employment begins with part-time hours as not to overwhelm our therapists with cases as they develop their skills as behavioral therapists. Throughout employment, we are open to hearing our employees needs and do our best to accommodate for individual needs, only as long as those needs are voiced. We wish you all the best!

Pros

strong communication and commitment to the field of ABA. Genuine interest in helping families succeed with ongoing support and resources from highly qualified and committed teams of employees at every level.

Cons

Turn over rate and attitude of incoming candidates at high levels in this field (BCBA's ...as well as entry level BT's.). often times noticing that individuals are viewing this position as just any other job. It's not. we are directly working with people who need our help and rely on our consistency and work ethic. Sadly, I'm disappointed in individuals who come in here and don't realize the work that it takes to help our clients succeed and the commitment necessary to any job really. However, at the level of a supervisor, the desk is not where we should aspire to be. a typical 8 hour shift is not what our field looks like. Work Life Balance???? we all want that. Go to work...do what it takes to do your job well and then go home for your Life balance......don't expect your jobs to provide that. we get into this job for the heart of it, not always for the money....so those of you upset about compensation of helping the autism community out....go talk to the very under paid teachers who get zero support in their school districts. Just wish candidates would stop blaming the companies and focus on the work. your company will recognize you if you are in it for the right reasons.

We appreciate your kind review! We’re delighted to hear you’ve had the pleasure of being part of our supportive team at Creative Solutions for Hope. At Creative Solutions for Hope, we take pride in fostering a team driven attitude and encourage our therapists (of all levels) to seek support from one another. We understand that the ABA field can be challenging at times, but alternatively it is a highly rewarding career for those individuals who strive to make a difference in people’s lives. While we support our therapists as best we can, becoming a successful therapist requires personal dedication and devotion to truly benefit the lives of those affected by autism. We thank you for your commitment to Creative Solutions for Hope and the ABA field!

Pros

Communication with the whole team was okay.

Cons

Expect you to be working at all hours. I didn’t contact my staff after they left their last client, but the supervision staff didn’t keep those boundaries. Felt like everyone was trying to keep their head above water without providing effective supervision.

Thank you for your feedback and time here at Creative Solutions for Hope. It is true, several of our supervisors work beyond their hours for the benefit of their clients and staff. This is a trait that many of our management staff in this field have a hard time turning off, especially with the demographics of clients that we work with. It can be very difficult to not be responsive to staff that is seeking support, even long after clinical managers have formally left the office. Although many of the managers spend tireless hours supporting their staff and clients, these actions are not mandatory requests of the company. CSH has simply had the pleasure of housing many upper management teams that work in this field for reasons beyond a 9-5 job and salary. If this is a field that you expect to treat as a 9-5 job, that’s great for you, and we can only hope that the time you commit to the field is valuable, and supportive to your staff and clients. Best of luck.
