Thank you so much for your feedback. We truly appreciate the time you took to share your experience in detail.
We’re glad to hear that the position has had a meaningful impact on your life, and that you’ve gained valuable lessons throughout your time with us. Being a Behavior Technician (BT) can be a challenging role, but we firmly believe the difference you make in the lives of others makes it all worthwhile.
We’re sorry to hear that you felt your initial training didn’t meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify that our training is designed to be both comprehensive and ongoing. During your first week, you are introduced to ABA in a hands-on, classroom-based environment. This training is aligned with the RBT Task List and integrates essential ABA concepts with our internal policies and procedures. Our goal is to ensure that every team member understands the expectations of the role from the very beginning.
Starting in your second week, you receive hands-on training in the field with your actual clients. A member of our team is with you during your first 2–3 sessions to help guide you through the transition. During this time, you’re introduced to your clients, their individualized programs, and the goals you’ll be working on with them.
In addition to the initial training, you have ongoing support from your supervisors—many of whom began their careers as BTs themselves. They are always available to offer guidance and help you navigate new clients or situations.
We also offer regular BT trainings, where our team comes together to focus on specific clinical topics. These sessions help us continue growing as professionals and as a team.
Thank you once again for your thoughtful review. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!
