Pros

There is a great amount of flexibilty in the work schedules by choosing the days that you work or don't work. the schiools assigned are local and easy to get ot.

Cons

Direct Ed solutions does verylittle to prepare their employees for the daily work expectations. They do very little, if any, research on the campuses prior to sending out teacher to these inner city schools.

Pros

good pay when you work

Cons

I was a per diem LPN and basically decided on my own schedule. I was not scheduled to work the week of my birthday in 2009 (would not let me pick 2009 as the year I last worked there on this site.) They said I no-call no-showed one of those days. Then when I called the office to get hours, every day for 2 WEEKS, sometimes twice a day, they said they would call me back and never did. I didn't work for a while and filed unemployment for the time I normally would have worked based on them not having availability of work. I was paid three weeks, then MSN told the DOL I was fired several weeks before for professional misconduct due to multiple NCNS (BS) and I am still fighting the ruling 3 years later as I am being charged with fraud. I was never told I was fired.
