Pitiful raises!

Pros

There is nothing good about working for this company. You are used and taken advantage of and paid horribly.

Cons

The company culture is a joke. The company does not care about their employees. How many employees this year received reviews and increases that were the worst review and raise ever in their career. Who is behind it? Management - it's a set up folks for those individuals they want out of the company.

Pros

Good health benefits, no late nights

Cons

Salary is a joke. Here is a look at what Christopher Marr COO of the company makes: So how much is $1,704,536? Christopher P. Marr made $1,704,536 in 2012 or $194 an hour, $3 a minute, and $0.05 a second. This is 4 times the president's salary and 32 times the median US household income. You would have to work for 63 years to make what Christopher P. Marr makes in 1 year. My salary is $ 24,950, and we don't get paid for the holidays but still have to work them. We are forced to take an extra day off so our DM can get a bigger bonus. Nothing about the pay structure is fair, and by all means NEVER use the whistleblower hotline as you will get burned in the end.

Pros

The pay is decent... and not much else. There's a gym on the premises to work off stress, which is a godsend.

Cons

There's a very prominent sense of desperation throughout the corporate headquarters. All the stops are pulled out to make that month's budget and revenue goals, only to have to stress about the following month all over again because there was no strategy involved. Management can be abusive and cronyism is rampant. I witnessed inappropriate advances toward female subordinates. The previous CEO was very demanding but rewarded those who met his expectations. CubeSmart's current CEO is a blank slate who avoids talking to junior associates and in an internal meeting could not understand why the office should be closed for inclement weather.
