Pros

No pros to this company, you’re just another number

Cons

They do not take harassment claims seriously. They will not investigate claims, even after multiple upper management personel is notified. (Foreman, General Foreman, Super intendant) The super intendant denies I told him even though I had representation / witness present. I’m now told he’s calling different local unions telling them to not employ me, slandering me that I sue unions. They did not make right and investigate the persons harassing me and saftey concerns (osha violations) they just ran me off the jobsite and allowed the general contractor fabricate a fake story with no evidence even though I had several witnesses and written testimony.

Safety is a core value at CEI and we take it very seriously. Our major jobsites have dedicated safety representatives who are tasked with ensuring safety is promoted, monitored and properly investigated, if/when appropriate. If any employee observes or feels they are the victim of discrimination or harassment, they are strongly encouraged to immediately report it via Ethix360 or our dedicated anti-harassment lines by calling 833-867-8887 or texting 704-815-5143. We take all complaints seriously, do not tolerate harassment and have policies against retaliation to prevent individuals from reporting incidents of harassment, discrimination or other violations of company policy.

Pros

Cupertino Electric is great depending on who you work for. Good benefits.

Cons

With no equal pay structure, men are often paid more and bonuses are not equal. I do believe there are efforts happening to improve this.
