Pros
Great people, good starting company when starting out young and looking to get your feet wet in a slightly growing company with reasonable annual margins. If interested I'd only recommend working here for 1-2 years max for the resume record and other perks. Then take that experience to leapfrog somewhere else.
Cons
As the years progressed the company began to lose it's mom and pop feel and started to feel corporate. New hires made more than established and excellent employees with multiple years under their belts. Benefits/perks, snacks and food quality/quantity dropped year over year. Management that was hired to lead their respective roles either lacked the expertise outright from within the company, or were hired from outside the company. Turnover rate and employee dissatisfaction grew after each month, profits were up substantially year over year, yet pay raises were dragged out, and still vastly shorter then competing businesses in the industry. Management called for additional extra work/hours, yet themselves were nowhere to be found during those time periods. (Working from home or not, respectable management should be in office with team members under these circumstances) Strenuous additional hours that were called for that resulted in severe lack of quality work/life balance outside of the office. Severe lack of preparation around work load/annual outlook expectations or initiatives. Development team across engineering/software is quite small, resulting in extremely time sensitive projects to be dragged out for months/years. A lot of quality and amazing team members began to leave, which was a red flag for current employees to start questioning why. Long-time and founding members of the company have left over the last 3 years. Investments in a myriad of avenues to produce profits for the company were prioritized over employee satisfaction and pay. Large purchases in items like electronics and decor that were hardly used or noticed. Major projects and initiatives were hardly rewarded fairly for time and effort spent and long-tenured employees were given small rewards for the time spent with the business.
