Thank you for providing your feedback to us. Your insight helps us better understand how we can improve. We’re glad you were happy with the pay, opportunities, and culture. To address the layoffs, Custom Ink closed two of our production facilities in January, impacting 358 people in Reno, NV and Charlottesville, VA, due to increasing production costs and tight labor markets. About 400 team members remain employed in other roles in those locations. We also supported Inkers through their transition with generous severance packages and an extended benefits period. We acknowledge and understand that these decisions deeply affected people’s lives, and we are committed to providing individuals with the care and support they need during their transitions. If you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at inkerfeedback@customink.com

Pros

You will meet some really great people A more relaxed work place Little fear of retaliation for honest feedback

Cons

-While the company won't retaliate for honest feedback, they also will NOT make changes based on the overwhelming feedback received. They will definitely pretend like they are listening, but no meaningful changes will be made. -Company prides itself on being named on the "Greatest Places to Work" lists. But they do not support their employees like they used to. -The sales department is very cut-throat now, which is a huge culture change from a few years ago. -The company is more focused on their bottom line than they are customer experience or employee satisfaction. They have brought in low-cost contractors to work in sales, who are poorly trained and wreak havoc for the actual Custom Ink sales reps. Additionally, they entirely outsourced their email team overseas. The old email team was made up of employees who had been at Custom Ink for years. So the customer experience has taken a nosedive.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. It helps us a lot when people let us know what they have experienced. We will share your feedback with our team and work to make changes based on your suggestions. All companies experience growing pains as they evolve but we strive to keep our Inker experience positive. We survey every quarter to better understand (and improve) the overall job satisfaction of the Custom Ink team. Ratings and comments received are very important to maintaining and improving the work experience, the team, and Custom Ink itself. Our Sales team has an engagement score of 91%. Some recent team improvements include establishing a recognition team, creating newsletters, additional call coaching, and compensation increases. To share additional context regarding our email team, our intent was (and is) to get back to our customers faster. Customer engagement remains high with the overseas team. As we transitioned to this model, a large percentage of our email team members opted to take positions within a different area of Sales at Custom Ink. If you have more details you would like to share, please reach out directly to us: employerbrand@customink.com.

Pros

You can work from home.

Cons

Not great pay but the employer talks as if it's $400 an hr or something. The employer has literally no discerning ability whatsoever and are blind to reality as it unfolds in front of them. The employer believes you need to worship your job rather than just do your best like a mentally stable individual does. Multiple people I know applied for the exact same position as myself that are more competent and qualified than me and they didn't even get an interview. Like I said this place is ran by complete morons.
