Pros

-Great small start-up company in the Washington D.C. Area. Definitely on the fast-track to expansion through recognition of DOD Special Warfare and USN International Exercises. -This is a growing field and expanding on the premise of unconventional warfare in the 21st century. This is a great atmosphere for veterans and government inclined professionals. -Work Hard Play Hard Mentality -Trending toward the good side of DOD Contracting

Cons

-Limited managerial experience and loose infrastructure. -Processes are managed on an individual basis with no defined steps. -Self-Study to be successful, no implementation of work place processes. -Going through growing pains of a startup firm, at times can be disorganized.

Pros

Good pay, good benefits, generally good co-workers, Family events are very nice

Cons

Nader is a master at deception, get everything in writing, and be very careful about ethics violations. Nader throws embarassing temper tantrums, throwing things and yelling obscenities. He has questionable contracting and billing practices. His management style causes otherwise good people to mistrust each other.

Cydecor Response

This review is comical to say the least although it is developed from shreds of truth. While I appreciate the personal comparison with Bobby Knight, there is evidence this review was manufactured. First, as of January 2015 Cydecor had only 3 managers leave none of which worked for the company for more than 2 years. Of those three, only 2 worked in the Crystal City HQ and both left on amicable terms plus neither attended our annual retreat which is the primary family event referenced under Pros. All that said, I will be first to admit that I have an intense passion for the business, desire to achieve excellence, and low tolerance for selfish teammates that undermine coworkers and the company for their own gain. For the record, I did throw something once, but to be specific that was a sanctioned egg toss at the Wintergreen Retreat in 2014. The coworker who was nailed by my horrible aim has received countless apologies from me, but I guess that reputation will never be let down. Best, Nader

Pros

Pros: Generous compensation, annual pay raises (3.0-5.0%), bonuses (5% of salary), close knit workforce.

Cons

Cons: Typical drawbacks of very small firm, e.g., one person deep in almost all areas, limited geographic presence (D.C. area centric, with 1-6 persons in about four or five other areas), expectation to make additional contributions after completing 40-hour work week, e.g., add 3-8 additional hours to support HQ-related needs such as proposal support, reviewing resumes of potential hires, chipping in to firm with your area of expertise.
