Pros

People. The ambition of the heads of and leadership team.

Cons

Needs to focus more. Too many product opportunities being chased in the insurance market at once. No clear competitors coming in at the moment so no need to rush so much.

Pros

Cytora consists out of roughly 40 people at the moment. Due to the office setup, it is a friendly chaos with teams developing loads of different things. The company is one of the few tech start-ups in the rich insurance industry. It is still defining and trying out different products with first projects getting done. This means: - High growth potential due to limited competitors - Easy, informal and friendly culture among the teams - Very driven to find and build the right insurance product(s) - Friendly office with a nice chaos to it

Cons

- Goals, products and offerings are often changing which leads to everyone doing everything - No real focus on a specific set of products yet - Basic pension and healthcare support

Pros

- Leadership is great mix of hungry/ambitious with down-to-earth and willing to admit what they don't know - A lot of the team comes from academic incredibly smart backgrounds, so the thoughtfulness of problem-solving is very high - It truly feels like the perfect time to join Cytora: we've a lot of money in the bank, making real revenue, yet we're early enough to really help define our infrastructure and future, for those that like taking on a lot of responsibility

Cons

- What you would expect of any high-performing 60-person startup: we haven't figure out everything, there's lots of tough work to do, we don't have all the structures in place of a more mature company
