      Dear “Former Employee,” Thank you for sharing your positive comments about your experience working at DAT. It’s true that, as an operating company of Roper Technologies, DAT enjoys benefits from the backing of a Fortune 500 company. Still, with almost 300 employees here at our headquarters in Beaverton, working for DAT feels like being part of a medium-sized company.

      Majority of the employees are loyal and very competent.

      Depending on who you report to can be hit or miss.

      Great Employer in Beaverton

      Pros

      Subsidiary of large public company, but maintains a local family-like culture. Total comp/benefits package is competitive and opportunities are provided for growth and development. Management is approachable, operating on an “open door” policy, and always seemed to care about employees. Recognition, perks and special events were very abundant.

      Cons

      To some extent, departments seemed to work in “silos” and could have communicated or worked together better.

So we appreciate that you highlighted the new building that became our home in 2016. Its “open” floor plan has literally “knocked down walls” to make collaboration even easier and promote even better communication between departments.
