Pros

DENSO has an established culture that puts their employees first and prides themselves on superior products and service. Great company for entry-level hires or experienced workers. I have felt valued as an employee and supported by cross-functional teams. A great place to build a career - surprised by the number of employees who have spent 20+ years with one company! Generous benefits package and clean facilities. Unique participation contests/surveys as well. Able to transition between plants fairly easily. Focuses on associate input and well-being. Friendly supportive associates for the most part.

Cons

There is a divide between production associates and specialists but that gap is being bridged. Production has to work long hours and weekends sometimes but as per usual for production gigs. Merging Japanese and American cultures can be a struggle at times but all DENSO works together for the common good.

Too much time away from family

Pros

Good pay and insurance. Clean working environment

Cons

Management cannot decide work hours for employees. They keep changing from a rotation schedule where you get days off to working seven days a week with no time for your family. For a company that encourages family they don't seem to want you to have time with them. Moral is really low. It could be compared to enslavement with pay. Management does not seem to care about employees having to work so many hours as long as they get their weekends and long holidays off. Lots of reorganization needs to happen to get this situation under control. DENSO is getting a very bad reputation about the way employees are treated.

Pros

Denso provides great benefits ,great pay and advancement for men.

Cons

Some of Denso team leaders at the Battle Creek plant show poor leadership skills ,favoritism and mostly don't care about the quality of the parts . My personal experience at Denso is a living hell day in day out no matter how many times you go to upper management nothing is done to take care of problem for long term. As a female at Denso I'm over looked and treated less, my qualifications are higher then anyone on my team and still nothing .
