      Not a good place for an engineer to work

      Pros

      There are not many good things about Denso Manufacturing Michigan (DMMI). Denso Japan (DNJP) is a great company but that does not cross over to it's American Sections.

      Cons

      To many people are in positions that they are not capable of doing. Its a revolving door for engineers, not many stay.

      Pros

      You get to travel, learn various supplier processes, and gain experience working for a top automotive company.

      Cons

      This company is completely broken. The place has many systems and policies but all of them are ineffective or completely ignored. Half of the employees don't even read or respond to emails. There is also so much red tape around everything that no wonder half of the people aren't doing their jobs. You are pretty much set up for failure the moment you walk through the door. Stay far away from this place.

      Job Security Decent pay Decent benefits Not really much else, some of your colleagues will see the place for what it is and be halfway nice.

      Cons

      Management lacks perspective If your not Japanese, you will not advance No work/life balance, told "no personal conversation, talk is business" 45-50 hour work week expected minimum, although they are only paying you for 40
