Decent starting pay, ample time off, counseling available to staff on monthly basis

Cons

Administrators lack knowledge with regard to mental health issues, clinical supervision is difficult to come by, lack of licensed professional staff

Pros

Organizational silo's such as the DESC are a very common approach. In an effective silo model the ability to coordinate inclusion, collaboration, and execution is that teams greatest resource.

Cons

A silo model such as that of the DESC is often the source of duplication in effort and diminished innovation. Areas where they suffer include Human Resource Management where consistency, productivity, and training decrease and your employees get frustrated. So, when it’s time to deliver results you can hear members of the in-house leadership team express “I thought you were going to do that” “No, I was doing X” or even “I didn’t know that was due today” or "I've never done this before...isn't this outside of my scope?" A lack of team alignment and overall organizational alignment. Employee disenfranchisement/poor culture. Lack of cross-team collaboration and communication.

Thank you for leaving your review. Since the beginning of the pandemic, our agency has experienced unprecedented change and growth. Unfortunately, quick growth comes with growing pains and we are all actively working to streamline processes across the agency. For example, we have recently implemented a new HR/Payroll/Timekeeping system that consolidated functions that had previously been divided and disjointed. Thank you again, and we wish you the best.

Pros

There is no manner of communication to allow me to properly support my peers and other individuals I supervise within my role.

Cons

Everything, I have worked here for over a decade and I do not see if anything is going to change unless the whole organization is going to change.
