Pros

DLB has a good culture and has managed to hire a lot of good people to work with. They are growing and aggressive in pursing and allowing their employees to pursue opportunity.

Cons

They pursue too much work, leaving projects under staffed. They are not interested in keeping or matching offers. They tend to want to get as much from you for a little money as possible. They also sometimes behave contradictorily with regards what they say about policy and compensation and then what they actually do

Pros

The people are wonderful They mostly say the right thing

Cons

Zero work-life balance. 75% travel position was 95% in actuality Expensive benefits No set bonus structure They love to lean on at-will employment. They expect their employees to bend over backwards for them but do not display the same. Be careful extending yourself and going the extra mile. They say the right things, even give promotions and money, but when your usefulness runs out so does your employment. I was fired on a Monday while in an airport, returning to a client site when I was let go. After working over the weekend. The stated reason was at-will employment. I had zero disciplinary actions during my tenure with the company.

Pros

Great benefits, good techie culture, encourages employees to use high level thinking strategies to approaching problems.

Cons

Unless you are an engineer, good luck trying to get equal treatment. The company does not invest enough in high tech to expand and focuses too closely on utilizing existing technology to drive innovative solutions.

In 2020 DLB rebranded itself with a new management team and a new style. Everyone, in every department, contributes to and shares in the success of the company. We have doubled in size since 2017 and are continuing to grow by leaps and bounds. It’s a new day at DLB!
