Pros

WFH - equipment sent to your home (although it would be helpful if they asked you what you need before sending everything) Large amount of company software to easily download for work

Cons

Company has no checks and balances for new hires Despite "at will" employment, HR will freely let someone go without any prior meetings about performance 10 days vacation (prorated for start date) No bonuses Pay is low Insurance is very expensive "Butt in Seat" mentality - tracking daily hours

Remote, with issues

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

1. Remote work life is great 2. Very relaxed work atmosphere for some 3. Very friendly employees

Cons

1. Bonuses, Christmas Bonus, Project Bonus, and 401k matches are not guaranteed. 2. The company prefers making its own software instead of purchasing pre-made software. The in-house software is usually very slow, has many bugs, and is not improved once released. 3. Pay is subpar to other engineering firms. 4. IT department will take weeks or days to fix critical issues. 5. You will rarely see your coworkers if you are a remote employee who does not work in the main hubs (New Jersey or ATL). 6. Some managers are not qualified and/or personable, leaving you feeling like you are not getting the needed support. 7. Projects will be handed to you with almost zero time until deadlines, causing high environmental stress. 8. Communication is a core value but is severely neglected company-wide.
