Thank you for taking the time to write a comment. I am glad that you have found DOWL to be full of friendly people, great career opportunities, all with a strong technical base. As I’ve noted in other reviews, we do try to balance workload, but client demands, and seasonal fluctuations do happen. However, I hope that you and your supervisor can find a reasonable balance so that you get time to recharge. Your life outside of DOWL is important.

DOWL is a thriving, growing firm and we work hard to provide opportunities for work that is challenging and interesting. We know that’s one of the many reasons folks stay! We also know that your life outside of DOWL has to get the priority it deserves. Our new five-year strategic plan places a substantial emphasis on the growth of our people. We want to support you. Please talk to your supervisor about what is an appropriate balance for you. They will be able to work with you align your goals with your project responsibilities. If you feel that you are not being represented, please reach out to your Market Sector Leader or our People Department for some additional assistance. As noted and acknowledged, the consulting business can have some seasonal or project-specific crunch times, but these fluctuations should also be met with appropriate downtime for you to recharge and focus on the things that mean the most to you.
