Pros

Literally none that any person could think of.

Cons

This company is a disgrace. Do not ever join here! Every person you talk to at the hiring phase asks like its the best company. It is not, they treat their people awfully. They lie, bully, and backstab. They talk about their clients and other workers poorly. This is not a good place to start or even end your career in contracting. HR is a complete joke and enables bad behavior. They hire the most incompetent micromanagers who belittle their own employees.

Your feedback does not reflect the culture, values, and dedicated workforce of DRT. We have a zero tolerance policy for many of the behaviors you have described above and on the contrary encourage collaboration, teamwork, and helping our client to be successful. We would have hoped than any concerns you had during your tenure would have been brought to the attention of leadership and would have been addressed immediately. We have an open door policy for any employee.

Pros

None, nada, nothing, slim, great at gossip and nepotism

Cons

Nepotism, back stabbing culture. Executive leadership in certain areas are not qualified or competent to be in such a position and are only there due to the CEO's college ties. This is absolutely the wrong way to run a company as their inexperience and lack of professionalism shows. When confronted with real gov con compliance issues the standard reply is to ignore and treat you as a "know it all" because you have more knowledge than the leadership. Many times issues were raised and nothing came of it only retribution for bringing it up.

Recently DRT completed our 2018 employee satisfaction survey which returned an 81% positive satisfaction rate for working environment and culture; and over 90% positive satisfaction on DRT values. The description you provided does not reflect DRT today, how we operate and what our employees stand for. We are familiar with your particular situation and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

The overall compensation— 11 federal holidays; commuting reimbursement; 4 weeks PTO; 401k match

Cons

A recurring theme of these reviews is “cliques”. While I would not personally use that term, I agree with the premise. Examples are-- I was frequently left out of conversations relevant to the work I am responsible for completing; All customer interaction was filtered through a handful of team members; Emails to my team lead frequently went unanswered even after being sent multiple times; I did not have an opportunity to contribute to the success of the project despite repeatedly asking if there is anything I can do to help the team. There is little job security at DRT and in my short tenure I witnessed layoffs while the company simultaneously hired new people. DRT takes a “revolving door” approach to growth, and has difficulty retaining people long term. It is easier to leave the company then to find another project internally.

Thank you for your feedback. The experience you had is definitely opposite to the core values that DRT tries to instill at all levels of the organization. All feedback is important and so is yours. I hope that you were able to share your feedback with your leadership team when you were employed.
