Pros

The office has very good people, a family environment and is flexible if you need to take time off for dealing with personal business.

Cons

There is no incentive to work harder since hard work doesn't get rewarded. Pay raises have been frozen for 3-4 years now, despite DXP having enough money to buy up new businesses they seem to care very little about employee retention/compensation. My facility has been losing people and upper management shows no signs of replacing these positions. More work is gradually assigned to the workers without any compensation. We have lost key workers, some with over a decade of experience and upper management has done nothing to keep them. Our salesmen require some perspective. More and more products are being sold at unreasonable lead times due to "It doesn't matter if it's late, since we got the job". This shows a lack of professionalism and ethical integrity, that runs rampant in the upper echelons of DXP. If you want a raise I recommend quitting and finding employment elsewhere. This isn't an angry review, this is just the reality of working at DXP.

Pros

Salary is decent but the downside is you never get a raise after being hired.

Cons

Don't expect to get a raise after being hired. Nepotism runs rampant here. There are hidden love affairs amongst managers. Very cliquish and treacherous people so fit in and be prepared to throw your coworkers under the bus or get fired.

Pros

Employee learned how to effectively LIE to employees by watching management.

Cons

Not allowed vacation because understaffed for three years! DXP lost contract and refused to pay vacation owed. Promised review AND raise after 90 days, neither given despite MULTIPLE reminders!
