Pros

Dartmouth is an excellent research-based school with a wealth of educational opportunities. You can find many entry-level positions, and the area provids you with a plenty of outdoor opportunities.

Cons

As it is a private academic place, availability of positions highly depends on the availability of funding, and even if a position is available, it's not likely to continue after few months or a year or two. Obviously, HR won't share this info with you and will keep their tight lips to keep you at the lowest wage as possible as long as they can. Stay alerted.

Pros

The campus is really great. The people are really nice and nothing much distracting you from your work. Facilities are great.

Cons

Since there is not a lot of people, you can get bored at times. Not many sources for information when you seek one.
