      A rewarding company poised for success

      Pros

      I've been with DataRobot for over a year and there's a lot to like. The company pays well, highly talented people work in every department, the product is well managed, and the market opportunity is significant. Though in my experience, the best part of DR is the focus they put on people. I was skeptical of this when I joined because so many companies promote this. But I continually see new programs and resources introduced that are centered on employee development and well being. It's truly one of a kind and sets the company heads and shoulders above nearly all other companies.

      Cons

      The goals are aggressive and expectations high as is typical for a fast growing company. Workloads can be heavy at times, and it's not a 9-5 type of company. This makes it incredibly rewarding for people who thrive in a setting like this but it's certainly not for everyone.

      Pros

      Quantifiably the greatest data scientists in the field, working on an amazing product. Culture is fantastic, and the E-suite try to make employees succeed and grow into more advanced and accomplished roles.

      Cons

      Can be disorganized in management– but I appreciate the flatness of the company.

      Pros

      The "wow!" factor of this software when shown to customers and partners is like nothing else I've experienced in the field. The product is simply jaw-dropping and will change the course for any business line who wants to stop settling for "good enough" and only wants the best and most accurate predictions of their data.

      Cons

      The CEO's expectations take a toll on the workforce. The reality is that those who are seen as "working longer hours" don't produce anything and it is discouraging to see how they are rewarded as better over those of us who simply work smart AND hard AND accomplish so much more. Organization needs to scale and stop thinking that flat is what's best. The nepotism / friend of a friend environment needs to stop and only the very best should be hired based on their ability to contribute and not their connection to the decision maker.
