Pros

Product is solid for global companies

Cons

Leadership in the enterprise division operates with no integrity. When interviewing for the job last year many of us that came over from ADP were told we would have 90 HQ locations in the 3500 to 10,000 space. As we scrubbed our territories many of us found we actually have less than 70 prospect targets. When we simply ask leadership to provide what was promised they don’t respond or belittle us. Even formal ethics investigations yielded nothing. Company wide the current number of reps at Ceridian at or above plan is 5 as shown in the “incent” quota attainment tracking system. The system shows tracking on 200 sales reps. Needless to say Ceridian sold many senior level sales executives a bunch of lies to recruit us and it appears they have no intention of correcting the situation. Favoritism abounds. The same reps are showered with leads for RFP’s and budget approved projects. If you aren’t in the circle of favorites good luck! After request for transparency on how leads are given it is crickets once again. I am just sick I left a great company and career for this group of leaders with no integrity.

Pros

Progressive, ‘unlimited’ Time Off Work, Work/Life Balance

Cons

Can’t take really take vacation or sick days, because you can’t generate revenue while on vacation, bereavement, mandatory training or mentoring new coworkers, participating in administrative meetings & tasks. Heavy focus is on employee utilization which is a moving target, tracked and reported weekly, to hit those targets and administrative duties you work well in excess of 10 + hour days in the US. Excessive layers of management, created an culture of micromanagers that continual finger pointing, & degrading employees, yet have no idea of the how to complete the same task, no knowledge of the details to complete a task or help. If you happen to be brave enough to ask, be prepared for the degrading comments to follow. Culture has significantly declined. Ethics are documented, but not followed. Managers mock and speak negatively about coworkers behind their back. Lack of accountability/responsibility for processes, procedures or applications that are rolled out and turn data into garbage. Customer facing employees are carrying the responsibility of generating the revenue to pay for all the layers of managers, who also get their bonus payments based on employee carrying the load.

Pros

• Flexible work hours • Unlimited paid time off • Friendly co-workers • Flagship product is innovative

Cons

• 'Boys Club' - doesn't promote and pay employees based on merit. Promotions and hiring are often based on who you know, not what you know. • Poor work ethic and lack of know how and ability for positions is not held accountable. • Women are not compensated equally for doing the same role as their male counterparts on the same team or in the same department. This is ranging from analyst to VP positions. • More work, same pay. Understaffed teams often covering 2-3 different roles.
